If you are really into Zombie films and like gory scenes, this movie is for you. It’s going to give you more than you expect. The relationship between the main three characters is complex and intriguing at the same time.
Is it worth watching Seul Station?
Yes. 7.2/10 on the scale of worthiness.
It’s a plus if you like drama or want to see something familiar but with an excellent twist.
It can become your favorite zombie film if you truly connect with the main character and appreciate a film with layers of unexpected secrets. It’s scary, yeah, but it is not the strong point of the Film. Zombie movies are not used to scare you but to tense you, and this one gets reaaally tense.
Seoul Station is an adult animated post-apocalyptic Zombie film.
The main focus of the Film is around these three characters:
Hye-sun, a young woman and ex-prostitute. A woman with low self-esteem but a raging power inside of her.
Suk-gyu, her father. Suk-gyu wants to escape with his daughter from this disaster with the help of his boyfriend.
And Ki-woong, her boyfriend, intends to pimp his girlfriend Hye-sun, even though she had enough of that lifestyle.
The Film starts with a homeless man lurking around the station, pretty severely wounded. Once he arrived at the station, he fainted.
A guy sees his wound and runs for help as soon as possible, but once he’s back, the homeless is dead.
The guy reports the dead man to the transit police, but when the officers follow him to where the corpse is, there’s nothing.
Meanwhile, Hye-sun and Ki-woong are arguing about prostituting Her again. She gets angry with Ki-woong and bursts out, leaving them separated at the station at the beginning of the apocalypse.
The Film features enormous hordes of zombies and an excellent story with profound characters and unexpected plot twists.
Written and directed by Yeon Sang-ho, Seoul Station is a prequel to the claimed film Train to Busan.

But it has a popular opinion of 40%, Mixed opinions, or you love it or hate it.
It is comprehensible because of the kind of Film it is, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it is bad for other tastes.
This movie was amazing. The people hating on it are either mad because it didn’t go down some imaginary checklist answering questions about how things led up to train to Busan.
